A sister with a secret. The joy of seed art and the gleeful washing of pumpkins. Hayride with Depression-era entourage eating our dust, sorghum maze, potluck in the barn, scratchy old quilt spread out on a flattish spot and leaving before the music started.
It might have gotten even better but it was pretty great even so.
