Been a long time gone, and not back yet.

Tomorrow is the end of a semester that has shown me up and down and all around. Dusty roads make dirty feet, that’s my refrain these days.

But for now, I am grateful to have made it through a few dicey round trips to Wausau, one through ice and snow a few months ago and one today that might very well have turned Oz-ward. I’m taking it as a sign that our final miles heading into Madison took us beneath a full-on rainbow. Horizon to horizon, no joke.
